The game feels FLOATY, SLUGGISH, and AWKWARD. Like you're in low gravity the whole time. Is this thing running at 30 fps or 60?
You can't throw grenades while sprinting. Really? You can do this in just about every other shooter. Last time I checked, I could throw stuff while sprinting/running in real life too. My accuracy might be lower, but at least my designer gave me the option. What was Dust's design perspective/reason behind this choice and is it going to change? Because to me, it does't make any sense that I can't throw something while running.
The biggest thing for me is that Dust514's Aiming acceleration and turning speed feels unnatural, awkward and floaty. I hate playing shooters that have too much acceleration. IMHO, aiming acceleration just does not work unless the game is running at 60 fps. 30 fps just makes the acceleration FEEL floaty and clumsy, no matter how much you tinker with it. This is what the majority of console shooters do wrong. Any chance this game could change to 60 fps once PS4 comes out?
For me CoD's level of acceleration is perfect. And the fact that it runs at 60 fps makes it that much better. It has just a tiny little bit to help make things feel a little more fluid with the stick but barely noticeable so that it doesn't feel like it gets in the way. Halo's acceleration is also acceptable. It's there, does it's job, but also doesn't get in the way. It's a good compromise.
Dust514? I'm not even really sure, it just feels awkward. If i turn the "sensitivity" controls down, I feel like its too much acceleration no matter what setting I put it on but then I can't turn fast. If I turn it to 8, 9, or 10 I can then turn somewhat fast (10 doesn't really feel all that fast compared to other shooters) but it still feels strange, especially when firing from the hip or and when trying to quickly switch targets while aiming down sites or even from the hip.
I can't put my finger on it, but it's taking the fun away from the game for me. It feels like I'm fighting with the controls rather then with my opponents in game. The aiming acceleration should be moved to it's own seperate setting and the turning speed setting should be expanded - keep the first 10 levels the way it is now, but add an additional 10, so 20 total. |

CCP is still working on perfecting the aiming, and it's not nearly so bad as you say anyways. Is this you're way of applying for CPM? You don't have to try and kick players out every time they something bad about Dust y'know... If you don't like what people say on the forums then how about you just leave?
I didn't make this topic to trash tallk the game. I made it to express what I don't like about it, and then made some suggestions on what could be changed to address those things that (I and most likely others) don't like.

Same can be said for your post. You're not adding anything to the discussion besides trolling.
